Fring has made an free iPhone-only app (sorry iPod Touch owners!), via the Installer.app jailbreak process that allows users to use VoIP and also a wide variety of chat networks. In addition to Fring’s own network, the application allows text chat on the Skype, SIP, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo, and AIM networks. It also allows VoIP on all of the above platforms (except Twitter, of course). [Correction: Yahoo and AIM appear to be text only.]
