A community swimming pool in Uitikon, Switzerland is now being heated by the heat the excess heat expelled from an IBM powered data center.  This free heat is delivered to the pool by equipment that was paid for by the owners of the pool.  That fee will be worth the amount of money saved on heating bills, too bad I didn’t think of this before them.
