Pizza.com Sold To Rich Pizza Lover

43-year-old Chris Clark was amazed when the domain, pizza.com, was sold for 2.6 million dollars. Clark had bought the domain for $20 dollars in 1994. He continued to pay that rate each year until just recently. After seeing Vodka.com go for 3 million, Clark decided to put pizza.com on the market. The bidding started at 100 dollars and made its way up to 2.6 million, 10,000 times the price that he purchased it for, which includes the annual fee. Just trying to imagine how much pizza you could buy with that amount of money makes my head spin. Just in case you were wondering it would be 216,847 large Papa John’s pizzas at 11.99 each.

NOTE: We are in no way affiliated with Papa John’s pizza, I just happen to like it.
