The PC maker Acer (not to be confused with EEE PC maker Asus), after purchasing smartphone maker E-Ten, which makes Glofiish cell phones, has decided to make it’s first smartphone. It will be released by early 2009 and will run Windows Mobile.

I am an AT&T customer. I’ve been an AT&T customer for years. Among the family, we’ve got 2 iPhones, a Windows Mobile phone, and until recently, 2 GoPhones.
The GoPhones are for emergency use, basically. They aren’t for general use - we would rather have a $30 GoPhone stolen than a $600 iPhone by far.
