I decided to go out and review the 1.1.1 update for the iPhone, specifically the mobile iTunes and ringtone creator. Sorry for the low quality pics, they were taken with another iPhone.

First, we can launch mobile iTunes. This part is easy.

We find something we like, let’s say U2.

“The Saints Are Coming” is a nice song in here. Let’s preview it.

That icon shows us how much time we have left in our preview, and also has a stop button that you probably can’t make out.

If we click buy, it asks us to confirm our purchase. I confirm.

It downloads quickly, and then appears in our iPod menu.

The song also syncs back to iTunes nicely as shown above.

Now, let’s make a ringtone. (coming soon)
